Encerrado en una habitación con Boadella y una grabadora para competir en transgresiones, puedo imaginar el duelo de a ver quién dice la barbaridad más disolvente. Al parecer, ganó Dragó, que hubo de tirar de lolitas para romper el empate. Y que por ello tiene epatados a todos los burgueses de la chicharra de la corrección.
Como cualquiera que trabaje expuesto al criterio de un público, o de una audiencia, y que además lo haga con valentía, Dragó merece el riesgo de no gustar. De caer mal. De inspirar inquinas políticas. De atraerse odios sectarios tan profundos como ésos de los que siempre fuimos capaces aquí. Lo que desde luego no merece es salir a la calle, en adelante, y adivinar en las miradas el asco a un abusador. Eso quieren endosarle, y Fernando no lo merece. En ese auto de fe quieren arruinarle hasta los recursos alimenticios y sacarlo de la vida pública: sólo por un odio sectario que ha forzado un pretexto, uno que llega demasiado lejos. Me cago en si es o no literatura porque me importa el hombre, el amigo. Y por qué me escandaliza esta degradación general de vale todo con tal de ultimar a un escritor cuyo único delito es no ser «de los nuestros». Hay una reedición de El mono azul que, sobre todo en blogs y programas de televisión, renueva la albertiana columna de ¡A paseo! Los paseos eran hasta ahora más o menos inocuos. Consistían en endosar a un autor cosificado como enemigo adjetivos con los que en realidad se puede vivir, y por los que aún no te niegan mesa en un restaurante. Facha. Cavernario. Y por ahí. El caso de Dragó representa una vuelta de tuerca en ese intento de liquidación civil sistemática, pues esta vez se agrede una reputación en términos muy difíciles de reparar. Si la grosería y la mezquindad del ataque son proporcionales al odio, entonces es que a Dragó le odian mucho, y ha de improvisar un alivio imaginando cómo se lo habrían expresado hace 74 años. Éste, a paseo: así habría empezado todo en El mono azul, que no se disfrazaba de blog ni de programa de humor.

leo sus artículos a menudo y me parece un buen columnista. Muy a menudo, tenemos opiniones rotundamente divergentes, y no por ello me pondría a luchar por su linchamiento social y civil, ni siquiera a dejar de leerle.
En cuanto a Dragó, he hojeado alguno de sus libros, aunque no me han atraído particularmente. El único que leí, en una noche de insomnio, es precisamente el famoso libro que nos ocupa. Fundamentalmente, he de reconocer, por Boadella. Que de la misma manera que usted, me parece un tipo desternillante y lúcido, a pesar de que esté en desacuerdo con él en multitud de cuestiones.
Por lo demás, Dragó me gusta como presentador de programas literarios (no le conozco mucho como presentador de telediarios sectarios de telemadrid, pero ni siquiera eso era algo que me impidiera ver sus entrevistas a escritores). He leído artículos suyos en El Mundo, a veces me parecen divertidos, otras veces soberanas memeces, pero a pesar de estar en las antípodas de muchas de sus opiniones, nunca he tenido hacia él ninguna animadversión especial, y quizá en parte por una cierta simpatía personal que sentía hacia la persona, que me parecía entrañable, no sé exactamente el por qué.
El acudir pues al argumento de que “le critican por no ser de los nuestros”, por “facha” etc, etc, al menos en mi caso, y creo por lo vertido en los medios de comunicación de estos últimos tiempos, el de muchos otros ciudadanos indignados, me parece una salida por la tangente absurda y falaz.
Expresaríamos muchos nuestra repulsa por las palabras de Dragó y por su actitud independientemente de que vengan de él, de Saramago, de Vázquez Montalbán, o del homologable centrista de turno defensor de la alianza de las civilizaciones y su puta madre en verso.
Sencillamente, el enaltecimiento de la pedofilia me indigna y me exalta, venga de quien venga, porque se trata de la glorificación de uno de los fenómenos más puros de abuso de poder y abyección a los que puede “aspirar” cualquier hombre.
(Cosa que ya viene haciendo según he podido comprobar después, desde 1986 como mínimo.
